Definitions

• “The Muse Haven”, "Studio" and “We” refer to Muse Haven Studios Pte Ltd, located at 80 Changi Road, Centropod, #03-18, Singapore 419715.

• "Participants", “Your, and “You” refer to any individual utilising the studio's services, including space hire, pole practice bookings, classes, privates and workshops.

• "Activities" encompass space hire, pole dance practice sessions, classes, privates, workshops, and any related activities offered by the Studio.

Kindly review the following Terms and Conditions carefully as they regulate your payments and engagement with The Muse Haven.

When you make a booking at The Muse Haven and/or enter the Studio’s premises, you are considered to have understood, acknowledged, and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

1. Personal Property Disclaimer

At The Muse Haven, we want to ensure your safety and the security of your personal belongings during your engaged Activities. Please take a moment to read and understand our personal property disclaimer:

Personal Property Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your personal property, including but not limited to bags, clothing, jewellery, electronic devices, and valuables brought into the studio premises.

Storage Facilities. We provide designated storage areas for your personal belongings. However, The Muse Haven does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in these areas.

Valuables and Jewellery. We recommend leaving valuable items and jewellery at home before your booked Activities. The Muse Haven is not liable for any loss or damage to such items.

Electronic Devices. The Muse Haven is not responsible for any loss or damage to electronic devices brought into the Studio.

Lost and Found. If you believe you have lost an item during your visit to the Studio, please reach out to us at hello@themusehaven.com. We will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating lost items, but we cannot guarantee their recovery.

Insurance. We recommend that you consider insurance coverage for your personal belongings if they are of significant value. The Muse Haven does not provide insurance coverage for personal property.

By participating in Activities at The Muse Haven, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this personal property disclaimer. We encourage all Participants to take precautions to protect their personal property while enjoying their booked Activities.

2. Punctuality and Studio Etiquette Guidelines

At The Muse Haven, we strive to maintain a positive and respectful environment for all our bookings and Activities. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please adhere to the following punctuality and studio etiquette guidelines:

Punctuality

Arrival Time. Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your unique access code will only work during your scheduled session. You are encouraged to access the Studio only during your scheduled session to avoid any disruption to prior bookings. One-hour bookings include time for preparing, warming up, cleaning and returning of the equipment. Overstaying by 10 minutes while using the pole or staying at the dance floor will incur a 30-minute charge.

Schedule Adherence. Respect your booked timeslot and the schedule of the studio. Be mindful of the session duration to allow for smooth transitions between sessions.

Advance Booking. To secure your preferred timeslot, it is advisable to book your sessions in advance through our booking system.

Studio Etiquette

Respectful Behaviour. Treat the Studio, all participants and instructors with kindness and respect. Pole dance practice is a shared experience, and a supportive atmosphere enhances everyone's progress. Participants who have registered and paid for regular single pole practice session(s) at The Muse Haven must have the intention to pole practice. Onlookers are discouraged. The Studio reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders should discomfort amongst the community is raised.

Cleanliness. Kindly keep the Studio clean and tidy. Please use the shoe racks provided for you and remove your shoes upon entering. Note that no food, sweetened drinks and smoking are allowed in the Studio. Strictly no ITAC is allowed on the brass poles. Please wipe down the poles and areas of use with the alcohol sprays and microfibre towels provided after use. Dispose of any trash and return equipment to its designated place after use.

Dress Code. Ensure your attire is clean and free from any loose jewellery or accessories that may cause injury or damage the poles. Only pole heels are allowed into the dance area.

Safety First. Avoid engaging in moves or routines beyond your skill level without proper guidance. Please do not lean, kick, or attempt handstands against the partition wall or mirrors. Please refrain from attempting to move or stow the poles away. Please note that you are booking a self practice studio without supervision and that the Studio will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents that occur within or outside the studio premises.

Sharing Equipment. Be courteous when sharing the space and sound system. Please note that each single pole booking is for one individual only, no sharing of poles is allowed. If you do need to share a pole, please book another single pole for use.

Studio Access. Please do not allow unauthorised persons to enter the Studio. Unauthorised persons are deemed as persons who did not register or book a slot with the Studio beforehand. Only registered and paid Participants are allowed into the Studio. The Studio reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders.

Photography, Videography and Intellectual Rights. We encourage Participants to take photos and videos in The Muse Haven. Unless given explicit permission, do not take photos or videos of others during their practice. Please respect their privacy. Any content, photos or videos featuring The Muse Haven studio premises is not to be used for any means of financial gain. The Studio reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders.

Exit Promptly. After your session ends, exit the Studio promptly to allow the next group of Participants to begin their practice on time. One-hour bookings include time for preparing, warming up, cleaning and returning of the equipment. Overstaying by 10 minutes while using the pole or staying at the dance floor will incur a 30-minute charge.

By adhering to these punctuality and studio etiquette guidelines, you contribute to a positive and harmonious atmosphere at The Muse Haven. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a welcoming and enjoyable pole dance community for all Participants.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

At The Muse Haven, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to adjust your scheduled activities. To provide clarity and fairness to all our valued participants, we have established the following rescheduling and cancellation policy:

Rescheduling

Advance Notice of more than 24 hours before scheduled session. Please note that you are allowed to reschedule your booking more than 24 hours before your scheduled session.

Notice of less than 24 hours before scheduled session. An admin fee of $5 will be charged to your card for any rescheduling less than 24 hours before your scheduled session.

Rescheduling Options. You may reschedule your session to an available timeslot within the next 30 days, subject to availability.

Refund Policy. Rescheduling requests made within the 24-hour window are strictly non-refundable. In such cases, you will not receive a refund for the session fee.

Cancellation

Advance Notice. To cancel a practice session, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice before the start of your booked timeslot, unless otherwise specified in your booking terms. Cancelled sessions more than 24 hours before the scheduled session will receive studio credits in return.

Studio Credits. Instead of a refund, we will provide you with the studio credits equal in value and booking type (e.g. single pole or whole studio bookings) which you can redeem for your future bookings. The number of times the studio credits can be used will be proportional to the number of bookings cancelled. Please email us upon the cancellation of your session for the studio credits.

Refund Policy. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are strictly non-refundable. In such cases, you will not receive a refund or studio credits for the session.

Exceptions

Studio Closure. If The Muse Haven is forced to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances or studio closure, we will give participants the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund, subject to the Studio’s final decision.

Medical Emergencies. In case of a medical emergency that prevents you from attending your session, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.

By booking a practice session at The Muse Haven, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an efficient and enjoyable experience for all our participants.

4. Purchase of Packages

Eligibility. Packages at The Muse Haven are available to individuals aged 18 and above. By purchasing a credit package, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Package Validity. Packages are valid for the specified duration from the date of purchase. The Muse Haven reserves the right to specify the expiration date of each package, which may vary depending on the package type.

Package Extensions. Package extensions may be considered on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances, such as medical reasons or travel restrictions. Requests for extensions must be made in writing to The Muse Haven.

Non-Transferable. Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared or sold to other individuals.

Cancellation and Refund Policy. All package purchases are final, and refunds are not available.

By purchasing packages at The Muse Haven, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this Purchase of Packages Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an efficient and enjoyable experience for all our participants.

5. Notice of Security Cameras Recording

We wish to inform you that, in our commitment to ensuring your safety and security, The Muse Haven utilises security camera system within the Studio. This notice is provided to inform you about the presence and use of security cameras during your activities.

Purpose of Security Cameras

Safety and Security. The primary objective of our security camera system is to enhance the safety and security of all individuals present within the studio premises. Please do not tamper with the security cameras. The Studio reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders.

Location of Cameras. Security cameras are strategically positioned within the studio area to monitor general activity, ensure safety, and protect against unauthorised access. Please be aware that these cameras do not capture or record activities within the changing room to preserve your privacy.

Recording and Retention. The security cameras record video footage for security and safety purposes. Video recordings are securely stored and retained for a limited duration, as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Access to Recordings. Access to video recordings is restricted to authorised personnel who require such access for security and operational purposes.

Respect for Your Privacy. We want to assure you that our security cameras are not used to monitor the content of your activities.

How You Can Contribute. While we employ these security measures to prioritise your safety, we kindly request that all participants respect the privacy and comfort of others during their sessions. Please refrain from intentionally obstructing or tampering with security cameras. If caught intentionally obstructing or tampering with the security cameras, the Studio reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders.

Questions or Concerns. If you have any inquiries or concerns related to our security camera system or its usage, we invite you to reach out to us. We are committed to addressing your questions and ensuring your peace of mind. Your well-being and security are paramount to us, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment at The Muse Haven.

6. Waiver, Release and Liability

Waiver and Release. Participants are required to read, understand and agreed upon a separate Waiver and Release agreement before engaging in activities at the Studio.

Liability. Participants understand that pole dancing and related activities involve inherent risks. The Studio is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during sessions.

7. Privacy

The Studio respects participants' privacy and will handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Please read our Privacy Policy for further details on our data protection policy,

8. Amendments

The Studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its discretion. Participants will be informed of any changes in a timely manner.

9. Governing Law

This Terms and Conditions agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and any legal action or proceeding related to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Singapore.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

11. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
